Entropie are very proud to have recently donated food boxes to the local charity Milton Keynes Food Bank, whom provide local families and individuals with essential food supplies at a time when they need them the most.

Even in our prosperous city of Milton Keynes, there are many people living on the edge of poverty. National statistics show that some wards of Milton Keynes are within 10% of the most deprived areas in England. The Food Bank ensures that no child or adult in Milton Keynes goes to bed hungry. They work through a network of referral agencies such as Citizen's Advice Bureau, Social Services and family centres, as well as doctors’ surgeries and schools.

The Food Bank charity relies entirely on donations of food and money from local schools, churches, businesses, organisations and individuals and every single item or penny given makes a difference. Sadly, the need in Milton Keynes continues to grow, with 14,092 parcels distributed in 2014. Over the last 2 years the number of food parcels distributed has risen by 72%.

We are very pleased to be able to support and help make a difference, especially at this time of the year. To find out more about the great service that the MK Food Bank provide please visit http://mkfoodbank.org.uk
