Proximity, Hands-Free, Smartcard, Magstripe and Loop Readers allow a system to use the most appropriate technology for each application in terms of cost and performance.
There are three main configurations available:

System Readers: Connects to a control unit in an Entro system

Reading Heads: Connects to the control unit in a Granta system

Standalone: A single unit, where the Reading Head and electronics are combined for simple installation
Readers can be configured in a number of ways from standalone units to systems with hundreds of centrally controlled Readers with thousands of cards.
