Samsung Business Communications has just released its new integrated Wi-Fi Solution for the OfficeServ range of systems.
Consisting of two primary components, an Access Point and Wireless IP handset, the Wi-Fi solution tightly integrates with the latest Samsung OfficeServ range of systems and can handle both voice and data traffic simultaneously.
The Samsung Wi-Fi solution solves the problem of catering for mobile staff in the office and can service mobile or temporary staff with both data network and speech connectivity.
An important feature of Samsung’s integrated Wi-Fi is the ability to provide a Voice over Wireless IP (VoWIP) with guaranteed quality of service. This ensures that regardless of the data traffic the Access Points will always prioritise any voice calls from the handsets guaranteeing high quality of calls at all times.
Being a radio based solution Wi-Fi technology does not have the same boundaries as physical cable. This opens up a whole new area of possibilities. In areas that previously could not get speech or data connectivity due to physical or planning restrictions, Wi-Fi is a cost effective solution to the problem.
